Sahira (24) is a woman who only lives with her father who is sickly. After 3 months of learning from the Job Training Institute, tomorrow morning he will undergo a test to become an Indonesian Migrant Worker in Korea. That night, when Sahira was studying modules from her Job Training Institute, she had an argument with her father about Indonesian Migrant Workers who are considered negative in society.
In the morning when Sahira was about to leave, her father finally let her go after a long tiring debate. Sahira is shown taking exams, paralleling her father who prays and gives up whatever is best for his son.
When Sahira came home, she saw her father lying on the floor. Sahira on her father's lap, she was crying. Immediately he remembered that his father had told Sahira to do what he believed was right, his father would always support him. Sahira was running here and there, she was crying for help. But when he returned, his father was already dying. Tears of emotion start Sahira's life story.

Jimmy Rivaldo
or often called Jimmy Born June 25, 2002 in Nabire (Papua) Indonesia. He is one of the students
Film Udinus Semarang. Watching movies has become a habit
done since childhood, to the interest in making the film
appears when joining one of the Extracurricular Cinematography
is in high school. Not only active as an udinus film student, Jimmy
has also been a representative for West Papua in the FLS2N competition
Lampung 2019 in the short film category, this is where Jimmy's interest started
deeper into film until he produced several short films,
including Flase Awakening (2022) as Director and Love
Algorithm (2022) which received an award in the Semarang Gawe Film (SGF) competition as champion
The 3 best directors. It doesn't stop there when Jimmy still is
continues to hone his skills in the field of Directing and Writing
Manuscript.

Director Statement

Father is a strong and tough figure who is tireless, he never complains about the work he does, even though the difficult things happen to him every day. As a child, I myself felt how
a father figure acts as the main stronghold in various problems that I face, as well as in making decisions. However, there are times when a father also needs a break. You are not a machine that works endlessly, you have limits. But what if we were faced with the day when our father breathed his last, what response would we present, were we ready to face it? Angry? Sad? Disturbed?
Sajak Tentang Angin is here to represent a child's feelings towards a father figure which is presented in the form of a family drama which is expected to represent the feelings and emotions of the audience regarding the characters of Sahira and Ayah in this film. In this film, I present Sahira as a tough woman who replaces her father's role in earning a living
because his father's condition did not improve. The news that Sahira took the test to become a TKI in South Korea really hurt her father. She doesn't want to be abandoned by her only child because of the negative stigma from the society she believes in
This film also aims to change the negative stigma that society has towards TKI, which has so far been identified with household assistants and bad treatment by their employers. At the end of the film, we will be shown how effort and hard work Sahira is
as a TKI in South Korea has produced proud results.
