Director Statement

The inspiration for "Whiskey at Midnight" came from the moral question "What would you do for the one you love?". Would you step down from your humanity in order to protect them? Would you sacrifice your chance to go to heaven for hell?

Originally the story was much different, it didn't have a full purpose. I actually set it to the side thinking it was a waste of time, until i picked it back up months later. Then its moral question hit me. Nearly non stop i worked on it telling a story of "Right and wrong" through its writing and through cinematic techniques.

Hopefully the audience will enjoy it for its cinematic beauty and emotional rawness. One day i would love to film the feature length so audiences can see the full picture and not just a piece of the puzzle.
