Since I was young, I'd always been fascinated by the filmmaking process. I found myself asking myself questions about the writers and/or directors intentions over just consuming the film as a whole. However when I was left in awe or questions about what I'd just seen, I felt all the more satisfied. I want to be able to create that for an audience, or even just one person... to have someone leave a screening wanting to talk about it with someone or to speculate my intentions.
I tend to gravitate more to psychological thrillers, a horror going on in someones head is far more probable and because no one can really ever understand fully what you're thinking, it makes the thought that much more interesting to me.
For this film on the inside you think there's something haunting you, making you pay for what you've done... but is it really there? or is it all happening in your head?
