Where do souls go?

A short film symbolising the meeting point of life and death in which I express myself in wistful contemplations of plans made for a perfectly curated life and how a single accident can steer you off your path, leading you to your end and a new beginning. But what happens to souls without new beginnings? Where do they go? Do they haunt or guide us?

Director Statement

In my short film, I explore the poignant meeting point of life and death through wistful contemplations on the meticulously curated plans we create for our lives. I delve into how a single accident can divert us from our intended path, propelling us toward our end and, simultaneously, a new beginning. Yet, what becomes of souls that lack new beginnings? Do they haunt us, lingering in the shadows of our memories, or do they emerge as guides, illuminating our way forward? This exploration of the delicate balance between loss and renewal invites viewers to reflect on the unpredictable nature of existence and the enduring impact of those who have crossed over.
