"Where are you from?" combines 3D animation and music creating an immersive cinematic journey, effectively conveying the urgency of addressing environmental disasters and their consequences through realism and fantasy. In just 2 and a half minutes, it aims to captivate the audience's attention and encourage them to rethink their relationship with the natural world while offering hope for future generations.

Juan Cristiani is an artist born in 1984 in Uruguay.
He studied music production at SAE New York; Cinematography and Digital Filmmaking at NYU.
In 2017, he obtained the #1 position in the Billboard ranking in the USA with his song "Dancing in the Rain". This same year, he won a Global Music Award and was nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards with his song "Tears of God".
In 2019, his animation "Dancing in the Rain" was selected for the Los Angeles Children's Film Festival and screened at the San Diego Comic Con.
In 2020, he composed and produced a song in collaboration with 29 recognized artists from around the world, including Bernie Grundman (mastering engineer for Michael Jackson and Prince). This song, titled "Survivors", conveys a message of hope and unity during the challenging times of the pandemic.
In 2023, he presented his new short film animation "Where are you from?" at the Comic Con in San Diego. In just 2 months, his film has been selected in more than 20 festivals worldwide and has won 5 of them.
