San Francisco 49er team captain and starting center, Eric Heitmann, is now an award-nominated, orchestral composer and producer. Eric writes in the epic, cinematic, and ambient genres, and his pieces are by design, ultra melodic, and follow a hybrid orchestral style. His music is heavily influenced by the film scores of Hans Zimmer, James Horner, and epic cinematic artist, Two Steps From Hell. He was nominated for the 2021 Instrumental Song of the Year “Requiem,” and Instrumental Album of the Year “Ascent,” by One World Music, the leading internet radio station for modern classical and instrumental music. His collaboration "Dark Before Dawn" with Patrick Zelinski, was nominated for 2022 Classical Recording of the Year by the YYC Music Awards in Canada. In 2023, his collaboration "Moonlit Echoes" with Patrick Zelinski was nominated for Classical Recording of the Year, again by the YYC Music Awards in Canada. Eric currently lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Emily, and two young daughters, both of whom are aspiring athletes and artists.
Where Spirits Sleep is an Epic, Ambient, Cinematic collaboration between film composer, Eric Heitmann, and rising soprano star, Amy Wallace. This piece is about finding your light in the darkness. Currently, Where Spirits Sleep has gone viral on social media, and has been used in over 150,000 reels. I am an independent artist, and this piece was overlooked upon its release, and now we are looking to give it a proper showcase. Amy and I are thrilled to submit our work to your amazing organization! THANK YOU Apollo Global Music Awards :)
