Where Are You Right Meow?

A 7-year old artist, Ayako, faces a creative block. After she finds out that her beloved cat, Beru, is missing, she takes a break from drawing and searches around the neighborhood. Wandering too far, her cat is not the only one that gets lost. Without anyone to help, will Ayako find her cat, her way back home, and her inspiration?

Director Biography - Maysam Al-Ani

Maysam Al-Ani is a filmmaker who has worked in roles of director, assistant director, and art director in various independent narrative works. Director of short animation "Where Are You Right Meow?" funded by Northwestern University. Being an American-born living in Qatar, the concept 'home' is something she often looks into, which she does with her film "Where Are You Right Meow?"
