Taye Alvis is an Anishinaabe/Ojibwe filmmaker based out of Toronto, Ontario. He's had experience in both theatre and film where he's written and directed a number of projects in many different genres, although he's taken a liking to horror as of late. Recently he graduated from Ryerson University's film program in the spring of 2021.
I completed this film as my thesis project at Ryerson University. It was a film that was developed over the course of my final year and one that was based off of the kinds of ghost stories I grew up with. Stories of "shadow people" who roam the reservation at night. Stories my relatives passed down to me.
