What the Funk?! A love Letter to the POC Community

This documentary tells the story of the first edition of What the Funk?! - the first POC burlesque festival from the Pacific Northwest.
Mx. Pucks A'Plenty (they/them), the initiator of this festival is the character driving the narrative, sharing their personal story, and their way of breaking the rules of burlesque by creating a festival that features funk music and performers of color. It's the story of the process of transforming personal artistic energy into a love letter for the POC community. Guests of the festival reflect on their life as burlesque performers, on the burlesques scene as an industry, on the body as a performative canvas, and on the burlesque community as a supportive pilar for personal expression and development.
