When I think about Latin-American culture, one of the first things that comes up to my mind is the view of all these overcrowded neighbours, full of amazing, colourful buildings, faithful mirrors of real life and people. This is where I started to make the poster. The idea is that of representing the San Diego Latino Film Festival through the mixture of these buildings, different and unique at the same time in their shapes and colours, really close to each other, the perfect symbol of diversity and cultural integration. The core is indeed a roll of film that serves as main square, the typical meeting centre since forever, where people can share ideas, support each other and feel members of a community with the same roots.
