What's a Trifecta?

The fourth year of the annual Snow, Skate, Surf event is the largest all adult trifecta in the world! In a single day, the 130 participants began on Mt. Hood, ripping the July snow at Timberline Ski Resort. The group then traveled 3.5 hours away to the Pacific City Skate park to shred the newly completed park, funded by the Cape Kiwanda Longboard Surf Classic, before hopping across the street and catching waves in the last light of the day. There was a campout, awards ceremony, and dance party afterward.

This one day event has been told through the lens of the 3 previous year's films. Film maker Alden Reed knew there was a deeper story to be told than the pattern and delivery of the previous years' films. Our documentary-style film touches on issues of equity and accessibility of these sports, inclusivity, and how truly lucky we are to have all these things within a single day's drive in the Pacific Northwest.
