What is Love

This is a hair salon which runs until midnight and provides sercive for souls.
Xiang-yu gets to the hair salon at sunset to prepare for the business and stays until 03:00 a.m every day. After 23:00, souls come to the salon one by one and chat with him like old friends do. People who pass by can only see Xiang-yu talking to himself with his hands busying. At the last stop of life, to let these souls leave without regrets, Xiang-yu tries his best to make the best style according to the customers’ demands. What’s more, he keeps practicing the best style for his wife, and waits for her coming.

Nationality: Taiwan
Kao Pu-Yuan has worked in the film and television industry for over eleven years, primarily as a director and cinematographer, and more recently as a screenwriter. His body of work spans documentaries, TV series, short dramas, and feature films. Kao’s storytelling is marked by a deep sensitivity to emotional nuance and a strong focus on the subtle transformations of human character.
