What have we lost

“What have we lost” is a short poetic documentary reflection written and told by Ukrainian teenagers affected by the war, that Russia started against Ukraine since 2014. Teenagers trying to reflect what they have lost and since when. In the same time, they are searching for their own identity: trying to grow deep in the soil in forest or building together a house, that could not be destroyed by rockets. Through poetic video images they are telling their stories with their own voices. We all have lost a lot, sometimes mostly everything, but since we still alive, as humans we are looking for love and hope for the future.
This short film has been shot in the Carpathian Mountains by a small group of professional filmmakers as a final part of an art-therapy storytelling course for teenagers in Ukraine.
