Jacob Trup is a British Filmmaker from London. He is currently studying at Bournemouth University for a Film degree. Jacob has always had the passion to capture the untold, the stories which all too frequently are overlooked. In Trup's first distributed and financed film, What We'd Like From You (2020), he aims to shed light on superficiality within the Film and TV industry.
I am delighted to offer you a film about authenticity surrounding stigma within the Film and TV industry. This project was carefully thought out with an unbelievable team of passionate doers. From the costume to the cinematographers, my job was simply to spearhead a feeling something we all felt needed talking about. I am also glad that for a first film, I was able to show my take from a youthful perspective.
