Director Biography - Promise Niccole Robinson

Promise Niccole Ruffin-Robinson, better known as “Prom the Director, is a recent graduate of the illustrious Hampton University and an upcoming filmmaker. She fell in love with the art of it all in 2021, and every since then she has done everything from cinematography, screenwriting, editing, and directing not only her own films, but her peers as well. Promise is dedicated to the arts and has a heart for the people, always aiming to inspire and to get inspired. From curated two of the biggest student run festivals in HU history, to creating safe creative spaces in her home community since 2019. Promise will stop at nothing to continue to be a lighthouse in the midst of so much darkness. Ms. Robinson is proud to announce will starting a new journey as of Fall 2023, for she will be attending the University of Georgia pursing a MFA in Film, Television, and Digital Media!
