Sam Rojas (Quito, Ecuador) is a film student and animator. “What Death Can Never Understand” is her first animated short.
What Death Can Never Understand is a project very close to my heart. I worked on it in High School and it was the thing that made me want to pursue a career in Film. It is meant to explore the perception of death as as a natural occurrence rather than something to be scared of, a topic that was particularly relevant to me after my grandmother's passing.
