Tubyez has specialized in Film and Media for 7+ years (film and digital), attempting to bring stories of little recognition to life. As a history scholar as well, he deeply appreciates the various mediums of art that can portray expansive perspectives on groundbreaking history. Currently, Tubyez Cropper is the Community Engagement Program Manager at the Beinecke Library. Amongst his many projects, much of his work consists of bringing local and national Black history to the forefront. More recently, he has begun working with local schools, churches, historical societies and more to uplift the essential stories that lack visual presence.
