Sara Mychkine is a poet, arifa and independent eco*afrofeminist, queer and decolonialx researcher.
Author of two poetry collections La plaie de l'aube (Blast, 2024) and L'éthé (Frison-Roche Belles Lettres, 2022) and a first novel De minuit à minuit (Le Bruit du Monde, 2023), published in various magazines (CENSORED, DÉBRIDÉ, DO-Kre-I-S, DUNE MAGAZINE...), she*they deploys incandescent languages where visions, lyannaj and vanishing lines take root as a fusion of breaches and cosmogonies.
Her work weaves writing, performance, collage and video, like open doors to the sensory exploration of memories-in-relation, the living trace of struggles and the matrix movements of dreams.
She*they was a member of the AFRIKADAA collective and curated the reading room of the symposium Re-Building the future envisioned by the Chichas de la pensée at Jaou Tunis 2024: We decided to remain human.
