Wetnose Animal rescue centre Documentary
This short documentary was a challenge and a brief in my final project
for the second year in 2019. I decided to create a documentary about
something that I am passionate about. The documentary I decided
to do was an animal shelter documentary, to show how animals are
in shelters and how important it is to adopt and not shop. I started
by contacting a few local shelters, and the Wetnose Animals Rescuee
center was the first to respond and the very next day we had a
meeting about what will happen. I then storyboarded my ideas and
sent them through. Once I received approval, I book a shooting date.
I decided to interview a person of interest in this case, the manager of
the organization. I went out and did the entire shoot with my iPhone
XR and a Canon 70D DSLR Camera. I also used a ring light and a
lapel mic for clarity within the audio. I then decided to edit the video
in Adobe premiere pro, used audition for the audio and after-effects
for the motion graphics.

Hello
I am Marulani Fibiger, I am 24 years old and a married yet independent woman!
I Graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Audio Visual Design at Inscape with a Top Student award in April 2021. I have a passion for design and what it has to offer but I have an even deeper passion for the entertainment industry and telling stories! I am a strong willed and confidant person with a goal of becoming the best version of me!
Film and production have been in my life as I also had film studies in high school. I am an animal lover,
an environmentalist and I love the outdoors. Being able to create and educate at the same time is
essential to me. I love the entertainment industry and have been a dancer for years. This allowed me
to be in front of the camera and understand what it feels like.
I love being able to capture important moments, and I love exploring new ideas and routes to take. I
always give my best and still love what I do and find the light at the end of the tunnel.
I have a deep love and connection with others that need help. I like to help and motivate others to do
their best and bring forward to their personalities. Giving people the ability to be themselves is the best
gift anyone can give or get. It connects one another to the rest of the world.
I am an animal lover and have a tiny zoo at my house, exotic animals are the best such as parrots,
chinchillas, and reptiles, but dogs and cats are super awesome too. I am all for rescuing and adopting
or fostering animals rather than buying into the billion-dollar trade.
I have a strong skill set in the Adobe suite and with thinking outside the box!
