2015 marks the inaugural year for West of Cannes Film Festival (WOCFF).

Taking place from November 20th to 22nd, 2015 at The Main Street Playhouse in Miami Lakes, FL, WOCFF will give independent filmmakers from Southeast Florida counties the opportunity of exposure & networking, and develop a greater appreciation for cinematic arts in the local community.

Multiple screenings will take place over the course of the weekend, with the awards ceremony taking place on Sunday, November 22nd.

All films will be reviewed as they are submitted and the best of each category will be chosen to screen at the festival. A jury of industry professionals will then view the finalists and choose winners. Judges range from HBO producers, to Univision directors, to established filmmakers, and many more.

WOCFF aims to inspire local filmmakers who may be intimidated by some of the more well-known film festivals in South Florida.
