The WLSFF(West Lake Short Film Festival) is a quarterly film competition dedicated to promote international short films from all over the world in China and Asia.
This year our festival will cooperate with Ergeng (the largest short film production and distribution company in China) who owns multiple portals for film distribution and has been committed to the support of the talents of the industry.
Apart from the competition, varies sections are included, such as art spaces (including cafe, book store, Chinese tea house, universities) screening, outdoor film exhibition, online screening, seminars, etc. All the films awarded will be supported for the further film production along with the chance to distribute their film in China. Our jury members include renowned Chinese directors, film critics along with the industry professions.
Our festival will be host in Hangzhou(China), one of the most beautiful cities with long history and rich culture which had been selected to be the venue for the G20 summit in 2016. We are expecting to bring a film feast to all the Chinese cinephiles where they could enjoy excellent short films from the world freely and your submission will be a great encouragement for everyone of us who has dedicated to the spreading of real art.
