Bentley Wesley Smith is a New York City-based 2D animator and storyboard artist. He was born and raised in Philadelphia. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a minor in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia. Bentley is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. His educational journey demonstrates his commitment to mastering both traditional and modern techniques in the field of animation. As a child, he found inspiration in the imaginative creations of Craig Douglas McCracken, the American cartoonist responsible for popular cartoons such as "The Powerpuff Girls'' and "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" on Cartoon Network. Bentley is impressed by McCracken's creativity and storytelling abilities, which have greatly influenced his work, with the ultimate goal of creating his show one day.
