Weaves Of Times

Weaves of time, made in 2013, is about seven poems of Sangeeta Gupta taken from her collection of poems with the same title, published in 2013. She as a director, has experimented with her poems and merged them with visual imageries to take them to a different level. There are multiple references in her poems and each poem is a different journey for the poet, filmmaker.

The film is part of the collection of Library of Congress, US, Washington.

The film was screened at India Habitat Centre, Delhi in December, 2013.

Director Biography - Sangeeta Gupta

Sangeeta Gupta, a retired Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, is an Indian abstract artist, poet and filmmaker. She is the first woman who qualified Civil Services from her district in Uttar Pradesh, India. She has directed, scripted and shot 19 documentary films, 7 of which are in the collection of Library of Congress, US.
