Director Biography - Rick Knief

Rick Knief is a commercial film director living in New York. He began his career as an art director, working at advertising agencies in both New York and Boston, before founding Table of Content in 2012. His work has been recognized by both national and international award competitions, and his campaign for the British Virgin Islands received the top honor of “Best Creative Director” at the Forbes American Business Awards.

As a director, Rick has been able to successfully take advantage of his marketing and people skills by pulling smart, genuine and human performances from his talent, capturing their emotions, and tying them to the brands that he has worked on in a clean, graphic, and cinematic style. This is evident in his work for ABC, American Express, AT&T, Bloomberg, BP, Budweiser, CBS, Century 21, Chevrolet, Coca Cola, Citi, City of Hope, Dana Farber, Georgia Pacific, IBM, Hartford, Hershey’s, HP, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Pfizer, Prudential, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal, among others.
