Director Biography - Filippo Ruggieri

At a cinematographic level he is selected in several festivals in Italy and abroad, including the prestigious Los Angeles Italia Film Festival in 2021 with his short film "Nascosto", for the Italian Job category together with names of the caliber of Matteo Garrone. In 2022 he won the Best Drama award at the Rome International Movie Awards with the short film "Un piece di Pane". He returns to the theater in the guise of playwright and director in 2023, bringing to the stage "We Know Already", a show based on his latest novel which was selected at the Fringe Off in Catania and two months later "Le Due Case" in Rome, consolidating his partner with the Petrolini Theater by Paolo Gatti. In May 2023 he presented and founded the Fight Club D'Arte Drammatica, a movement of young artists who are encouraged to express themselves in various artistic forms and the group's first project "We already know each other" is selected for the 77th edition of the Salerno International Film Festival
