We Were All Nobody's
Times change. Buildings come and go. But there are some places that become a part of us, places that can never be torn down. "We Were All Nobody’s" is a documentary film honoring one of those places—a Queens, NY club that meant everything to us 90's musicians.

I'm a video editor by day, a drummer on random weekends, a Met fan for 6 masochistic months a year, and a dad and husband 24/7. I've dreamed of making my own movie since getting a GAF 8mm movie camera for Christmas at age 13.
Watching Oscar Night 2016, I was shocked and a little bummed out that all the nominated documentaries were about horrific subject matter. I wondered if there was any room left in the film world for the happy documentary. And so, I decided to make a film about one of the happiest places and times in my life: the local rock mecca in Flushing, Queens, a bar/club called Nobody's.
At the mere mention on social media that I was considering making this film, I had a sizable roster of ex-denizens of that long-ago rock scene ready to spill their stories, and spill they did. After a year and a half of interviews, tracking down photos and videos, and other elements needed for the film, the editing process began.
Now, over two years after that fateful Oscar Night, the movie is finished and ready to be entered into a number of film festivals across the United States, which would help to spread a little bit of that Queens moxie to the rest of this great country.
We Were All Nobody's; now it's your turn.
