Director Biography - Benjamin Rigley Rigley

My name is Benjamin Rigley. I am a Scottish filmmaker who focuses on documentaries based in Cambodia. I have graduated with a BA in film production with SAE Institute. Through this, I’ve made numerous short films and promotional work. I am passionate about directing and editing as well as photography. I have often collaborated with production companies like Vice, Visual by Nature, Coconut Island, Last Night from Glasgow and the Idea . This experience has helped me grow as a filmmaker and learn skills in different aspects in film production.

Director Statement

We Wear the Crown was conceptualized on the set of my feature "A Pearl Rouge". I was inspired to make this after hearing stories form my AD.
I am passionate about observational documentaries like "Honey land", and felt inspired in venturing into this form of documentary filmmaking.
