From Glasgow, Scotland, Euan grew up being interested in all aspects of the outdoors. He’s been climbing since the age of 8 and continues to do so for work and for pleasure.
Euan graduated with an HND in Film and Television production in 2013, and combining this with his passion for the outdoors, launched Finalcrux Films in the October of that year.
Finalcrux Films create multi-award winning photography and films that reach a global audience.
"We Need to Talk About Kev" is the anti-climbing film. It focuses so much more on the character behind the rock climber than on purely the act itself.
Kev Shields is endlessly entertaining and is larger than life in many ways. The film is a humble opening in to his personal life and the struggles he faces on a daily basis. Whether that's struggles with work, his broken body or becoming a dad for the first time...!
