Director Statement

Through Warprize I want to play inside the scope of genre films with their characteristics and conventions. Dystopia works by pushing today’s tendencies into extreme points while Western use the frontiers as a ground for identity-making. From this crossing, I use Warprize as a chance to observe human relationships inside the new world order without the past. These characters are being shaped and forced by the system that controls their dailyhood. Can they imagine life other than the reality they inhabit as something not inherent?
