Director Biography - Cathie Boruch

Cathie Boruch is an actress and comedienne who lives in New York City.
She has studied with John Strasberg for acting and creative imagination. She has written and produced several one woman shows including ones for the One Festival , United Solo fest and Peoples Improv Theater Solocom as well as many others.
Her roles in plays are often highly praised and her work on WBAI radio led to the creation of a documentary on NY Punk music which now lives in the Paley institute in Manhattan.
She has had several photo shows in venues for artists and musicians such as The Bowery Electric and also produced a weekly comedy and performance show entitled Ten Penny Comedy Show.
Her current film Behind the Mask – The World According to Covid - has won best Comedy Short in the Marina del Rey film festival 2020 .For several years she continues to enter film festivals and create content. She also has worked as an actor in the Metropolitan Opera Company NYC .
