WORKING COGNITION ON PARASITE EARTH

'WORKING COGNITION ON PARASITE EARTH' is an image and sound experiment that hypothesises advanced capitalism’s radical disruption of subjectivity. The changing dynamics of labour and capital stress an escalating dependence on machines and technology. The necessitation of human-machine hybridisation has displaced and detached our connection with the natural world. We are left in an erratic and ‘hi-tech’ mire, where the distinctions between labour and leisure are increasingly devoid of meaning and human experience is ever more abstracted from empirical reality.
