Director Biography - Zivar Hojati

Hello .
My name is Zivar Hojjati. I am one of the short filmmakers. I am from Iran. I have a bachelor's degree in Western philosophy from the University of Isfahan and a master's degree in philosophy of religion from the University of Tehran. I defended my university dissertation on the philosophy of Kierkegaard and the cinema of Andrei Tarkovsky and Ingmar Bergman.
I have written and directed 4 short films so far and I have participated in many international festivals and my films have won awards and nominations in various festivals.

My previous film(Bullets of Baptism)has been accepted in the following festivals:

The subject of the film is universal and with a coherent and fascinating narrative about the harm that women and children experience in war.
