Shani Ashley Francillon is a Haitian-American, Brooklyn born, Multi-hyphenate. Whether it’s Acting, Spoken Word, Screenwriting, Singing, Voiceover Acting, or Producing, Shani is capable of telling stories through different mediums. Her ability to wear different hats came into fruition in 2018 when she Produced, Directed, Wrote, and Starred in her one woman show, NAKED: An Open Letter To My Ex, running off Broadway in Manhattan, NYC. With each show being sold out, Shani then led her "jack of all trades" abilities on screen for her short film, W.E.T. Her gift of spoken word led her to take the voiceover world by storm. You can hear Shani’s voice in voiceover commercials for brands such as ADIDAS, Dicks
Sporting Goods, CBRE, Milk, Klarna, & more. On camera you can see her on Bust Down on Peacock, Boomerang on BET, and the feature film, Water In A Broken Glass on Apple TV. As Shani continues to plant her seeds in the entertainment industry, she plans to create a garden of stories that give a voice to the voiceless. Her core values come from her culture and being first generation born. Her stories reflect those who haven’t had the chance to be heard, people of color, immigrants, and those looking for a place to belong...
