Director Biography - Vasilisa Olegovna Koroleva

Independent DOP, camerawoman, and editor born in a small town in Russia who travels around the world as a nomad with the aim of connecting people together through art and creative storytelling.At the age of 15 I started working as a photographer out of curiosity and desire to create the dynamic work which later in life has led me to directing my first film. Just Western is my directorial debut made in collaboration with the enthusiasts from different countries. As a professional filmmaker I produce various TV and Youtube shows. Deeply inspired and influenced by the works of David Lynch and Krzysztof Kieślowski I want to make experimental films based on my own scripts to show the inner world of human being and to reveal the elusive nature of things.
Aside from filmmaking I work on releasing my first music album, practicing yoga, keen on analogue photography.
