WE'RE STILL HERE

A film conceptualised, shot and edited by Grade 11 high school learners Alfa Fipaza and Xola Mfakadolo, in the township of Khayelitsha, Cape Town.

Together they document the work of the South African Destitute Ex-Miners Forum (S.A.D.E.M.F.). The organisation is currently contending with major mining companies to secure the release of provident funds owed to ex-mineworkers, many of whom worked in the mines for decades.
