Congress '21, presented by the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers, will be held online from November 30 to December 2, 2021, with the generous support of host sponsor ARTE, the European cultural channel.

Winners will be invited to participate in this year's online Awards ceremony during Congress '21 and receive a prestigious statue celebrating their achievement. Winners will also receive a free registration including full access to next year's conference and other benefits.
Categories are open to all media platforms including broadcast, digital, social media, VR, gaming, etc.
Must have premiered on a platform between November 2020 to November 2021
Must be in English or subtitled in English
The WCSFP will not accept rough cuts or fine cuts for consideration.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to secure clearance from all copyright holders of materials included in the submitted project. WCSFP will not be held responsible for the unauthorized inclusion of copyrighted materials within or relating to the submitted project. WCSFP reserves the right to disqualify any project with unauthorized copyrighted materials.
Award applicants need not register for Congress'21. However, anyone who has paid an Awards entry fee will be eligible for a conference registration discount.

Submission to the 2021 awards for consideration
Administrative expenses related to cataloging and reviewing each submission
Presence on the Congress VOD site until January 31, 2022
Note: Inclusion in the Congress VOD site is only included for selected projects if the applicant opts in during the submission process. All WCSFP online screening programs are curated and all submissions will be considered by the WCSFP programming team.
Discount codes are not accepted retroactively. Submission fees are non-refundable.
Applicants will be notified whether their project has been nominated via email by mid-October 2021. All decisions by juries and the WCSFP programming team are final.
WCSFP is under no obligation to provide comments or feedback regarding the submitted project to the applicant or any other representative. Incomplete applications will not be considered or refunded. WCSFP is under no obligation to notify the applicant.
No screeners or application materials will be returned. Do not send film prints, master tapes, or other originals.
Submissions are now open with a final deadline of September 10th, 2021.
To submit, you must complete the online submission form. All submissions will be processed via FilmFreeway. Please note, you will be required to create a FilmFreeway account to submit.
A project/company may submit more than one project/nominee, and may submit that project/nominee for more than one category; however, you must complete a separate form for each project/nominee.
