Voznesenye: the search for the lost

The film is dedicated to the fate of the Orthodox dilapidated, half-restored church in the village of Ascension, Arkhangelsk region. The life of the temple, the house of culture and the former ionosphere station are tied up in a tight knot, where worldly and heavenly, modernity and antiquity are mixed. The heroes of the film are trying to unravel the tangle of contradictions and find the lost meanings.
