Marco is a 3D Generalist from Auckland. Originally from Italy, he has cultivated a passion for acting and animation since a very young age. He has recently graduated from the Auckland University of Technology and is currently working as a Facial Data Technician for Soul Machines.
The idea for 'Voyager', my capstone project from AUT, came from a strong desire to visualise elements of the past, present and future. The Myric, an alien creature from a distant galaxy, comes to explore a present day Earth. Inside the abandoned museum, he searches for past memories in order to understand more about the human race.
"Voyager" is also a statement of humanity's current situation, and with it I wanted to express one simple message: We are the masters of our own fate, and it is up to us to change our current course.
