Short animation made with testimonies about the Atlantic coast in Colombia. My intention was not to generalize but to show the problem of dispossession and the struggles of the farmers who had to start from zero twice in their lives in order to have a piece of land where to work. The animation was made in Adobe After Effect, mixing pencil drawings and digital edition. It shows a farmer that is weeding his way home with a machete and starts remembering the process of dispossesion and violence as ghosts appear in the jungle. The audio footage of the machete cutting through the weed was recorded in the community during 2017.
