Void Transmutation
The work is a reflection on the emptiness that arises when hope dies. Here, so that hope does not die, we make peace with nothingness, after all, only the awareness of nothingness allows us to transcend and reevaluate our own lives and behaviors. Here, the emptiness is filled and becomes necessary. As Sartre says: “it is up to man to build himself”. From this reflection, we follow the transmutation of the character by observing the caterpillar’s mutation into a butterfly. Confinement does not mean renouncing freedom. After all, resignation is a free decision, so we choose not to resign ourselves and transform the house into a cocoon and do not see it as deprivation but rather as an opportunity for connection, to listen to the “emptiness” of each one.
