Vladimir is an Independent Swiss Film Director, Screenwriter, Producer.
He was immersed in films from a very young age. He started to help and work in a video store at 12 years old. He worked there for 15 years.
In 2006, he studied cinema in France.
The young Swiss participated in his first festival in 2008,
a "Tourné-Monté" Festival in Châtel St-Denis in Switzerland. He was selected in the official competition with his short film "Waiting" shot in super8.
2014, He finalized the editing of his first feature film in Korean.
"A Normal Day in the life”, a drama about four Koreans and their everyday life in Seoul. He shot the same year his first English short film in Singapore
"The Story of Eduardo: An Empty Man", a dramatic thriller about revenge.
In 2015, He shot another short film in South Korea “Delicate Strawberry", a drama about a breakup.
2018-2019, Vladimir shot three new films.
The first two are part of a trilogy. Dramatic stories about dreams and reality. The first episode was shot in Singapore "The Girl Left Behind”.
It was finalised in summer 2020 during the pandemic.
The second episode was shot in Seoul “72”.
It went to film festivals from July 2023. Since then, It was selected in several festivals and won prizes in 7 film festivals.
The film won Best Feature at an independent film festival in West London. It also won Best Foreign Film, Best Screenplay and Best Film about Women at other smaller festivals.
The third film is a feature film shot in Singapore again "Tea Leaves & Lilies”.
A family drama around the traditional tea ceremony.
This film has been touring film festivals from summer of 2023 and has won 3 awards. It won Best Lead Actress, Social Awareness, Best Film, Best Director and Best Original Score.
2024-2026, will be the years of production of his long awaited feature film project in Seoul “Tteokbokki Stall”. A Revenge Romance Drama about Taekwondo.
The film will be shot in English and Korean, with a Swiss actor and the rest of the cast will be all Koreans.
