Director Biography - Pavel Bartovský

Pavel studied animation and VFX at the Jiří’s Trnka Private Primary School in Pilsen. He is currently a student of directing at the Film Academy of Miroslav Ondříček in Písek. Pavel is director of short films and in addition also he is a commercial director, graphic designer, animator and VFX artist.

Pavel's most successful projects are the short horror Visitor, a short film about domestic violence, which has won numerous awards around the world, including Hollywood, or the short documentary The Life of the Seeker Petr Brukner about a legendary Czech actor. Pavel is now completing his next short horror film The Hunt and is also preparing another project, a non-traditional TV show which, will focus on domestic violence again and introduce us to another strong female main character.
