Two recent graduates have escaped their new lives in New York, but why? The concatenation of events is revealed in fragments as the past returns to them along with the very TikToks that led them to online popularity and real world insanity and criminality. Viral is a four-episode comedy that follows its two directionless artists-turned-would-be-influencers on an exploration of what’s happening in the vanguard of popular entertainment and how it affects the psyche. Turns out the almost literal fifteen seconds of fame were more infectious than they thought.
