Terms & Conditions for the ViralFilmNetwork Screenplay Competition.
1) This competition is to win the chance to have an original screenplay produced into a traditional feature film format and also a virtual reality experience. The duration of the films shall be between seventy to eighty minutes.
2) The deadline for entries for this competition is midnight on April 29th 2016.
3) The competition is open to writers of any nationality from any country.
4) Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.
5) Entries must be submitted in the English language.
6) Submissions in any genre will be accepted.
7) Submissions by co-writing partnerships will be accepted.
8) You must hold all rights to the material submitted or have the rights holders’ permission.
9) Story Criteria – The screenplay must have no more than three characters and take place within one single location.
10) The script should be formatted in standard industry format, using Courier 12pt font.
11) Submissions should take the form of:
a) Screenplay title.
b) A completed screenplay of between seventy to ninety pages.
c) A synopsis of not more than 500 words.
d) A logline that pitches your story – this is one sentence that makes people want to know more.
e) Your name, email address and contact telephone number.
12) Submissions are to be made by email to write@viralfilmnetwork.com with the subject of “Screenplay Submission” and to include the information as defined in section 6 above.
13) Confirmation of receipt shall be provided once your submission is received.
14) Entering the competition constitutes permission for ViralFilmNetwork.com to use the winners’ names for publicity and promotional purposes without any additional compensation. It also means that all members of ViralFilmNetwork.com will be able to read and review the screenplay.

16) The prize is to have your submitted screenplay produced into a traditional format feature film and a virtual reality experience.
17) There will be no cash alternative to the offered prizes.
18) By submitting your screenplay as defined in clause 6 of this document you confirm that you agree with the details stated on this document ‘VFN Screenplay Application’ and the ‘VFN Screenplay Agreement’ contract.
19) The winning screenplay will be selected through a process of voting on ViralFilmNetwork.com. Voting will be made by ViralFilmNetwork.com members.
20) Submissions to this competition can register and interacting with the voting process at ViralFilmNetwork.com.
21) Production on the traditional format feature film and the virtual reality experience for the winning screenplay is scheduled to begin in September 2016.
22) The decision made by ViralFilmNetwork.com members is final. The winner shall be announced as the screenplay that has received the most votes from ViralFilmNetwork.com members as at midnight on Friday 27th May 2016
