Vincent Lee is an Asian American writer/director and third-year MFA candidate in the Graduate Film Program at NYU Tisch. He recently finished production on his Taipei-based short film Lie to Me starring Drive My Car's Sonia Yuan, and is currently developing his first feature, Blue Comedy, from a screenplay recognized in The Hollywood Reporter as part of the 2024 Purple List. Prior to joining Tisch, Vincent worked as a producer and co-director for Academy Award-nominated documentarian Christine Choy (subject of The Exiles, winner of Sundance’s 2022 U.S. Grand Jury Prize for Documentary). He also created the National Youth Orchestra of China, producing concert broadcasts for ARTE and NPR with artists such as Yuja Wang and Yo-Yo Ma.
