Victoria Babkina, a graduate of the Moscow Institute of Contemporary Art, Faculty of Directing.
Throughout the study years worked on a number of social and commercial projects dealing with local educational and artistic life of the city, on the one hand, and raising awareness about existing social and economical problems of the region, on the other. Some works received local recognition and were shown on TV and at specialized events.
A constant participant of specific workshops, forums and other projects, including among others the International Motivational Film Festival BRIDGE of ARTS, aiming at promotion and development of filmmaking industry.
Became a member of the Russian Documentary Film and Television Guild focused on the development of the Russian documentary film market with purpose to unite the local industry professionals in their activities and systemize and improve the process of bringing Russian documentary films to the viewers.
Current goal is to promote the graduation film "Midas" (2018), a documentary shot in the native city raising the acute social questions.
