Retired Army Reserve Master Sergeant, Combat Journalist, Iraq Veteran and Bronze Star Recipient. For over 25 years Sandknop travelled across the nation, across the world and into the war zones producing 1000s of videos telling the stories of our men and women in uniform. He deployed for a total of 24 months: Iraq: 2003-2004 and Kuwait 2007-2008.

Sandknop has also worked in L.A. on numerous TV shows and feature films including: Party of Five, 90201, Melrose Place, Scream 3, Romy and Michele, The Hot Chick, The Girl Next Door and others.
He now resides back in his hometown of St. Louis MO. He continues working as a defense contractor producing "sensitive" videos both in the U.S. and overseas, industrial films, music videos, TV News, campaign videos, and documentaries.
Sandknop has an A.A., B.A. and Masters degree all in film and television production.
