Victoria Pelejero was born in 1981, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She´s got a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and visual Communication (Universidad del Norte Santo Tomás de Aquino – Tucumán, Argentina) and a diploma as a Special Effects artist (Primer escuela Argentina de Efectos Especiales - Buenos Aires, Argentina).
She has worked as an art director in the advertising industry.
She has experience in different roles in the film industry:
Graphic design and motion graphics: She has worked in several documentaries, highlighting scientific dissemination films: Historias de Ciencia (2015); Proyecto Sub (2016); La Isla sumergida (2017); Campaña Cero (2019); Maelstrom 2001 (2022), among others.
Costume design: She participated in Alexia (short-film, Andres Borghi, 2013)
Art direction: She was art director in La Chica más rara del Mundo (short-film, Mariano Cattaneo, 2014); El sistema Gorevisión: Cine Z, micropolítica y rocanrol (documentary, Javier Diment, 2015).
En 2010 she wrote with Cecilia Portillo a horror short-film called Umiko, where she also had the art direction role, obtaining a special mention in the festival Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre.
In 2018 she directed the videoclip “The Battle of Moytirra” for the Argentine folk metal band Cernunnos.
Between 2014 and 2018 she made 3 trips to Norway and started the independent production of her first feature documentary: Black Metal from the end of the World. The film was completed in july 2023.
