Victoria

Victoria is a deathly ill 10-year-old child that spends her days in isolation, away from the real world. Lazarus, a medieval knight, visits the child and promises to take her on an adventure to his kingdom, where his queen awaits them.
Together, they embark on a journey to the promised kingdom, perpetually stalked by Victoria’s greatest fear: Death.”

Director Biography - André Oliveira Santos

André Oliveira Santos was born in Valongo (Portugal) on the 26th of September of 1997. Having spent a year in isolation at the Portuguese Oncology Institute in 2012, he developed a special admiration for film and stories that accompanied him during that process.
In 2015 he entered the “Sound and Image” course at the Portuguese Catholic University, specializing in Screenwriting and Directing. Here he wrote and directed his first short film: “Victória”.
Later, in 2018, he travelled to London (United Kingdom) where he completed Middlesex University’s “Film” Masters. During his stay he wrote a short-film named “Elise” and a feature-length film named “Joanna & I”, both being in early stages of production.
