Victim
Bullying is a complex situation, involving both a bully and a victim. However, sometimes, the bully, one who most see as heartless and sadistic, is a victim of horrors that cause him to act out, whether or not he wants to. Mitchell Dawson is no exception. All he wants is to be liked, even if it means making terrible decisions and hanging with the wrong crowd. Struggles within this group of friends, his abusive father, and his own mind bring about a harsh downfall and, ultimately, a miraculous change.

Wyatt Shipp was born on August 24th, 1999 in Newport Beach, CA. He has lived in nearby Laguna Beach, a thriving arts community, his entire life. Being surrounded by the arts, naturally, Wyatt was curious. He ultimately found that art was his passion and goal in life, specifically theater and film. Since he first picked up a camera at around 7 years old, he has been making fun short films and putting them on his YouTube channel, and as he's aged and grown in this field, he's decided that he wants to, one day, become a director/actor. Wyatt now attends film school at Arizona State University.
I can't thank enough the cast, the crew, Mr. Shen, and everybody that assisted me in making this film. Without them, we would never have been able to tell this story and convey the powerful, yet simple messages of walking in another's shoes and persevering through hardship to better oneself and those around you. I hope all of Victim's future viewers enjoy this film and find it as impactful as it was for those who made it.
